So I’ve decided to write a blog. I’m 34 and clearly it’s time.
Contained within are cathartic musings that I hope may be interesting to others. The subjects will vary but will undeniably lean towards more serious stuff. I’ll try to show a little humour along the way though.
I’ve decided to start motivated in part by my view that mainstream news – of which I have some experience – substantially fails now in its duty to truly inform. What I hope you find and enjoy are considered and detailed pieces of analysis and opinion that challenge your current understanding on issues and contribute to a more informed debate.
I’ve not set out with the expectation of turning this into a viable alternative income. I enjoy learning and challenging my own perspective. But if you want to encourage me to keep going or simply enjoyed a piece then do donate some beer money.

- International Economics (2:1) – University of Nottingham
- My career to date has been in commercial finance for Sky working across a number of different industries within the business
